About Daraja 360

The Daraja 360 is a Community Based Organization that holistically empowers vulnerable families, youth and children to lead decent and sustainable livelihoods.

Our History

Targeting the Vulnerable

Even with primary and secondary education, children without strong parental or community strong need mentoring and inspiration to chart successful life courses.

On the other hand, for the women formerly living on the streets, provision of shelter and training is not enough – the path to independence is long and complex especially in the reintegration phase.

This we have found out to be a challenge for most rehabilitation centers, rescue centers, and children’s homes.

Unlocking the Potential of Youth

Young adults from the normal family setups and more so from these centers are faced with frightening life transitions when they leave homes & centers into real life or tertiary institutions because of lack of employment and adequate capacity to start and run their businesses.

Economic Empowerment to Self-sutainability

The focus on empowerment and entrepreneurship, which are lacking from the Kenya education system, is critical for building the next generation of businesses and opportunities that will tap the full potential of the Kenyan economy.

We want to create a growth model where each
generation of entrepreneurs inspires and
equips the next. Daraja 360 does this across
two thematic areas.
